HLP Launches Season 3 of International Documentary-Adventure Series!

TORONTO – December 9, 2014 – HLP, in association with Esquire Network (USA) and Blue Ant Media are in pre-production of Season 3 of the adrenaline-charged documentary series following the adventures of friends and fierce competitors Simon Donato and Paul ‘Turbo’ Trebilcock in their worldwide quest to challenge their limits in some of the most extreme competitive events on Earth. Season 3 introduces 2 new cast members to challenge Simon and Turbo and chase their goals in ultra marathons, bike races, grueling triathlons and other endurance events that range from very well known to totally obscure.
Hunter McIntyre is the bad frat-boy turned ultra racer. He finally found his calling as a world-class Spartan racer with a large, growing fan following. He is willing to put it all on the line to pursue his athletic endeavours. Rory Bosio has placed female 1st and 2nd in two of the Olympics of ultra running – the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) in France and Western States in California.  Funny, fierce and focused, Rory is a part time nurse and full time avid skier, biker, paddle boarder and Yogi.

Simon Donato, PhD
Ambitious, competitive, and possessed of a dry wit, he is the driving force behind the show.  With a PhD in geology, he has travelled extensively to race and explore the planet.  He competes at a high-level in ultra-running as a passion and hobby.  His driving motivation while racing is usually to finish as fast as possible to 1) end the suffering and 2) get a cold beer.

Paul ‘Turbo’ Trebilcock
If Simon is all head, Turbo is all heart.  A loveable self-confessed minimalist raised in the back of a VW mini-van by hippie-parents, this vegetarian is comedy central for the show.  He is as genuine as they come, and a strong athlete with a background in ultra-running, rock climbing, and mountain biking.  The City of Hamilton’s first bike courier in the 1980’s, Turbo is now a carpenter and is raising two teenage girls with his wife.

Boundless is produced by Steven Bray, Directed by Josh Eady. Angela Donald is Supervising Producer. DOP is Jordan Eady. Executive Producers are Henry Less and Lee Herberman. Co-Executive Producers are Josh and Jordan Eady, who along with Simon Donato, created the show.
